The Big Charity Quiz Night

A BIG THANK YOU to all those who attended and contributed to the success of the TFC Big
Charity Quiz Night on Saturday.

Particular thanks to Alan & Roisin Traquair and Jamie & Nancy Clark for their fantastic efforts
in obtaining such wonderful raffle prizes. Thanks also to our managers, Bowie, Alan again
and Ja for their kind donations to the raffle and to all the local businesses who also donated
prizes.

We had 80 people representing their respective TFC teams, across 10 tables on the night
and in a very close contest the winners who took home the coveted TFC Quiz Champions
trophy were Alan Traquair’s Under 11 Colts beating one of the Under 13 Girls and Ja’s under
16’s into 2 nd  and 3 rd place respectively.

Phil Barton’s Welfare table took home the less coveted prize of 8 doughnuts for finishing in
last place.

Deep in Discussion

It was an enjoyable evening that brought together teams from all across the club. In addition
the evening raised just over £830 for the club and will enable us to purchase a defibrillator
for use at Seaview.
 
I will look to run another quiz in the spring when Alan and his team can look to defend their
title.
